Stupid Noob Typing

What if some noob went and accidentally mistyped His/Her empire name getting two characters out of order and then not seeing it for a NevYear?
I know that there is an option to "change the name" of an empire; but costs a ton of $$$$$ when you have a lot of zones. Is there anyway to just get the Empire Name Typo fixed without having to do the "Name Change".

No. There are about 5 "are you sure" screens you have to click through to change your empire name to begin with. Most problems people have on Nev are due to them just clicking through popups like that.

LOL matthulk smashhhhhhhhhhhh arrrrrrrrrrrh. you can lower the cost by i blv cutting your zone counts down to the bare min etc.

yes every zone owned costs 250k, up to a max of 250M to rename any empire at any level.
As for any work around, NO, there is no option other than paying NCash to rename your empire, and that is limited to once a real month.
So either deal with the typo or spend the cash...sorry
