Overview: The Tagger Drone VTOL was designed to avoid many attacks and quickly bring its Light TAG to bear on a target.
Capabilities: The Tagger Drone VTOL can, using its 25 I.C.E. engine and jet boosters, move at a flank speed of nine hundred meters in ten seconds making it very fast. It is designed to be expendable. Its chin turreted Light TAG can tag beam a target repeatedly if signaled to by its controlling person. If the Tagger flies into the effect radius of an opposing ECM suite then it can, due to its program, return to its controlling person's last known position within 60 meters. It has a C3 Slave to make ranged attacks for other units in its network easier.
Tagger Drone VTOL specifications Tech: Inner Sphere Mass: 5 tons Cruise: 15 Flank: 22.5 (30) Top: 30 (37.5) cockpit & controls & sensors: 0.5 tons drone equipment & dronesensors: 1 ton structure: wooden 0.25 tons rotors: 0.5 tons 25 I.C.E. engine & jet boosters: 1.1 Light TAG & chin turret 0.55 tons C3 Slave: 1 ton remaining tonnage: cargo 0.1 tons

Outstanding! Genius! I love it!
I say that because I made the same thing years ago and used it until I was banned from using artillery and other guided munitions.

Good. Ok Cray make sure this design is in the next TRO. The wooden structure can catch fire like woods hexes and takes double damage that normal conventional vehicular structure can take. Nine hundred meters is roughly the extreme range of semiguided LRMs.

Surprisingly not bad.....
I'd see it shot out of the sky pretty quick but it might get a telling hit in before that....
BTech rules really don't give VTOLs much life no matter how good they are..

You do realize that Cray made it first several years ago, right?

Newtype, use remaining cargo tonnage (0.1 tons) and since crew person isn't needed in this drone you should be able to reduce cockpit control tonnage by 0.05 tons to make tonnage available for 0.25 jet boosters while removing previous 0.1 ton jet boosters.
-------------------- Wow, those bracing maneuvers sure do come in handy when firing proximity fused precision cluster flak ammo at a Balancer LAM. Unfortunately they make my 'Mech an immobile target for that LAM. Oh well, at least I'm getting partial cover.

I forgot to mention: the Tagger Drone VTOL uses alcohol as its fuel to prevent air pollution and therefore while alcohol is in the fuel tank any Engine Hit causes a fuel tank explosion.

Chip, you've got a life time ban. Coming back under new names only repeats your violations of the posting rules (no second attempts, no bypassing bans).
