Everything is slow

Seems most of the time I try to log in, I can't make it past the empire selections screen, and on the few occassions that I make it to the tournament section of the arena, there are 13 people there, who along with myself, seem to be stuck and unable to do anything. Anyone know if this is being fixed?

As far as I know, no, it isn't being actively worked on. ...but hey, it's only March.
