Question about omnimech design

If I take an existing omnimech and remove the weapons can I just replace them with other weapons of an equal tonnage?

Yes equal tonnage. Large Pulse Laser and ER PPC both Clan weigh the same...you can go lighter to get more but remember space constriction do come in to play.

Basically. You have to mind the critical slots, too.
