Can not continue Training Simulation

I tried to run a simulation just now and got a crash, followed by every attempt at re-entering:
"Cannot find any data for battle 329452. Battle was likely resolved."
My "record" shows 2-0, so apparently I've done them twice before (can't remember).
Can anyone else actually enter? (Assuming that anyone else actually tries training simulations any more).

i was in the sims a few days ago. Only issue i ran into was the sim didnt want to end, though it was at the point that everytime you clicked on a unit, it said to wait until the arena attacked. Normally hitting sync or dont move ends it after a few times. Finally just put it on auto and left. havent tried it since.
Most of my errors were when you first started. It would crash before you got the map loaded. Not sure if it was the map size, or maybe the units picked to fight me.
I was having problems loading battles after the initial loading of the maps. Next step is trying the ffa.

I told Randy in the years gone by that the simulator and FFA were the cause of the arena bugs. I proved it to SM recently by having a sim not end with my Flashman, leaving it, and then immediately creating an arena with primalba for 2 Panthers. My Panther never entered, my Flashman did. He was still shot up from the sim. I could not claim or control him, and he showed up as fine in my empire. Primalba killed the Flaashman that was on AI and got the prize and rep. I lost my bet.
The arenas have not worked right since sims went in. Disable sims: problem solved!

How about find out where its crossed and fix that? Some people actually use the sims. It would be nice to be able to use any unit in the game instead of just what you have in stock. Being able to use a mech before you buy it would be very nice.

Sims could be fixed. It would simply require that the sim fuction not use your empire units but stock units with no number value, a seperate set of databases and tables for the sim alone, and a seperate area on your pages for it. The problem becomes not only the massive amount of coding required to make ALL stock units available at different skill levels (not to mention the next enemy force calculations that would be needed), but the thousands of tables that would have to be duplicated onto a new part of the server assigned to it so that they don't cross over into the arena tables. Same with the FFA. At that point, a new server JUST for arenas/sims/FFA would be a great idea. Otherwise, shutting down sims is the fastest and safest way to make arenas work MOSTLY proper again.
