OK, once again. I would actually like to know who is banned from Nev Chat.
SM, I am not looking for your litany of reasons, valid or otherwise. You see, I have friends within Nev that I would like to talk to in chat at some time in the future.
So once again, is there a list of names?
BTW, without giving me a 3 page explaination, why was my last page locked down. It was no better nor no worse than many other posts. So I would appreciate this one being left open.
Furthermore, a bit of advice. In case you haven't noticed, and you have and do not really care, you are not very popular with several people atm. I don't give a rats arse myself, but you really should recuse yourself from moderating Sarna. You have a conflict of interest here. Cray is obviously active and will take care of any 'nasty' posts.

I was unbanned for a day or 2, and then re-banned. I only assume it was for the original reason. Still found in ##

I was told I was unbanned, but I still can't join channel. I don't really care to be honest. I think it's fair to say none of us are going to do the kowtowing and ring-kissing SM wants from us.

Yes, I unbanned everyone as I thought 12 days was long enough for whatever people got banned for, but SM threw a fit and rebanned everyone, and wants anyone banned to contact him and grovel/apologize I guess.

i will not post a list of people that are currently banned from any channels...as that list constantly evolves based on any particular players actions of the day
most IRC clients offer a view of all current bans
if you had bothered to read the last replies from me in your original topci, you would know why that thread was closed, twice
as for any recent short unbanning, that was indeed Gunner taking actions on his own. i did NOT throw a fit, i simply asked him why he removed the bans, and added them back. Gunner if you have issues with me, or being an OP, feel free to resign. OP is strictly a volunteer position, but you are expected to maintain the status quo as established by Neveron policy.
mattbuck: my apologies to you for posting that i would remove your ban, and then forgetting to do so immediately after posting my comments. For whatever reason, i forgot to do so until the next day.
To be clear to everyone, there is no expectation of **** kissing or groveling to be in #neveron. The same fundemental rules applies there that has been there for the last 14+ months. Keep it G rated or better, share your opinions in an intelligent and RESPECTFUL manner. Those that do not, will be dealt with accordingly.
for those of you still banned, as Gunner indicated, your ban will not be removed until you speak directly to me. There is no exception to this. You do not have to ever talk to me, but you will need to in order to gain access to #neveron again

1: Randy perma-banned me from chat back in 2003. Didn't need to go ever go back, so as you can see, this doesn't affect many players.
2: You have every right to ban based on the rules. I got banned just because I felt left out by NOT being banned. I deserved the ban. I wear it, like my old ban, as a badge of honor.
3: Your own words: "I don't have time to respond to every PM I get"
Sooooooooooooo . . . why do we need to talk to you again? You may not answer, in your own words. What's the point here?
Before you set out terms, think about what you have said previously. You have an unfortunate habit of saying something, forgetting it, and then over-reacting to the original issue you spawned. Again, read your own words above. You admit it on this thread alone. This is one of the reasons people on Nev are furious at you: they have chat logs and long, accurate memories.

I dont have time to answer every PM, but if the PM is from a person, asking about a current ban, I make time to address that issue. So there is no conflict there, just the need to prioritize things.
I have not over reacted to any of this. in fact i thought i exercised a great amount of tolerance based on the real life threats against me and my family, insults and profanity that was thrown at me. I did not start banning until it was clear certain people had no intention to try to understand what was going on and their intention was to only cause disruption.
I have not completely forgotten anything i said, however i may occassional need a reminder about a past topic. I have several dozens things going on at any given moment and i talk with dozens of players each week.
my principles have not suddenly changed either.
I did state i forgot to take an additional step [removing the actual ban] after posting something on the forums.
For the player that thinks something that minor makes me a target for that much hatred in your eyes, then please do us all a favor and quit playing the game today.

Hiya, folks. Just a reminder of the posting rules: posts like this are a violation of them. These forums are meant to support on-topic discussions of Neveron, even angry posts. But when your posts are only confrontational or personal attacks, you get warnings and/or bans.
Today, I've handed out 4 warnings, 1 ban, and 4 deleted posts today, which is a record. Try to throttle it back a bit.
A lot of you have packed on two warnings and are teetering on the edge of week-long bans, which will manifest as sudden non-access to PMs and the forums. If you want to keep up your angry tirades on these forums, you'll have to do so in accordance with the posting rules or else you'll spend a week fuming and locked out. (Especially since a lot of you seem to be silenced on Neveron's chat channel, too.)

I understand why you took what I said the way you did.
But, getting under SMs skin by telling the truth and the way things are should not be agaisnt the rules. It is up to him to be offended, not me.

I'm getting a bit more abrupt with repeat offenders. There's been more posts, warnings, and bans (including a life time ban) in the past two days than in the preceding year.

In reality, it is very sad.
Anyone from the outside reading our forums must think we are all nuttier than a fruitcake.
They would be correct in the assumption. People could study this forum for years and glean insight into all colours of human psyche.
Even Dr. Phil cannot help us now.

I visited #nev Saturday evening 2/18, and there were only 12 people in the room. . . Now I understand. . . Also reinforces my reasons for abstaining from irc recently.
