I just stumbled upon the following two articles at gamasutra:
"Flash in the Pan? It's like Déjà vu (Mac 1984) all over again ..." by William Volk on 03/30/12 11:56:00 am

"Adobe announces Unity partnership, charging for 'premium features'" by Tom Curtis, March 28, 2012

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bad news for browser game developers running on a tight budget and using - or planning to use - flash technologies for their game/s?
Yet another encouragement to use other standardized web technologies - like, for example, HTML 5 - instead?
Another good reason to try using platform independent, more open solutions for browser games?
Just some food for thought ...
Have a nice day / night.
