According to QuantCast, a very very accurate traffic analyzer that you must opt in to (and Neveron has done so, so its numbers are valid)...
During the month of January Neveron had 50 daily visitors (players) that accounted for 53% of all visits to the game.
By March (the March 4 - April 2 time frame) Neveron had lost 42% of its daily players. That's nearly HALF. During this period of time there have only been 29 daily players.
(By the way, I have no idea if those numbers include daily bots... if so the real numbers are even WORSE)
SM, you say that we are the vocal minority and that most players appreciate what you are trying to do. That's an odd sentiment considering HALF of your active playerbase has totally bailed on you in the past three months, and of those that remain probably over 3/4 think your changes are ruinous.
I think these stats, which are accurate because you opted in for them to be collected from your servers and allowed them to be made public, speak for themselves.
Half the active playerbase is gone. There is, to be frank, no way you can spin this SM. These facts speak for themselves. When are you going to grow up and admit you made terrible mistakes, and try to right things with the people that still give enough of a damn to even connect to your lousy game.
Seriously, these numbers tell me that your jig is almost up, if you don't wise up. Do you want to be the person that actually kills Neveron? Do you?
ADDENDUM
I just checked, and over the past month hocgaming.com, a small guild website with not much going on outside of our own private use, has had TWICE the unique visitors you have. Come on, what the hell SM? Are you even trying?

Warning!! You SM do not have a CLUE! You are level 1 or greater and are not ABLE TO FIX THE GAME. NEVERON have a lot of important benefits like enabling you to repair mechs and vehicles, receive money from other players, be protected if you are attacked, and get discounts on market items. To look into applying to NEVERON, go to the Directory section and do NOTHING. Factions looking for new members are marked in red, LIKE IT MATTERS.

I think he has given up too. I feel bad for those who are still invested in nev, either through the buyout or through large DP rich empires. But we all knew this was a possible outcome. We had hope for a while, but I think Codefest destroyed what little hope we had left.

Coming soon, Olympic Games (London, 27 July - 12 August 2012), so you better not expect any increase in Neveron related activities any time soon, sorry ...

On the other hand the general trend (slowly shrinking playerbase at Neveron) is nothing new and started many years ago (approx. 2005, introduction of forced faction wars under the old admin team) and ShadowMaster tries to deal with this "lethal heritage" (a slowly shrinking playerbase) ...
The game needs fresh blood (more new players) - and less noob ganking on "Noob (Cannibal) Island" (TM).
Ironically a partially broken game, with landwar being down most of the time, might help the 'prey' to slowly recover from all the relentless ganking of the past ...
Do you remember the early days of Neveron (no landwar implemented yet)? - Playerbase and empire growth ...

Considering that quantcast only shows 1% as daily connects, and ww2 is a way to open a second stable window pretty much known only by veterans, probably not.
I'm getting the opinion you think Neveron is a lot healthier than we do. lol

Normally, wouldn't a base domain (neveron.com) include all the variants (www.neveron.com, www2.neveron.com etc) that point to a particular website? They aren't different sites at all.

Technically the www and www2 act like subdomains, usually large websites may point them to separate servers to distribute load (so in Nev's case they are not separate sites, but they could be in another application). So it's possible, perhaps even probable that they are counted separately.
