First Lord Ogg sat at his desk and signed the thick stack of white paper before him. After doing so, he handed it back to a well-groomed gentleman in a black suit and tie who was carrying what looked like a presentation portfolio.
"Thank you very much, my Lord." The man in the business suit smiled, "...I assure you, you will find our designs to be quite secure, and will increase the effectiveness of your scientific community."
The First Lord leaned back his chair, resting his elbows on the arms and clasping his hands he responded, "I hope so, Mr. Jenkins, for your sake. This is no small sum of money I have approved for four of your Research Facilities..."
"My Lord, BioResources, inc. is the best in the House of Ogg..." he was cut off abrubtly, "...I will decide that, Mr. Jenkins. I trust you have a great deal to do..."
With that the businessman went slightly red in the cheeks, but nevertheless nodded and headed out the door. It was now that the extra income he was receiving from his victories off-world would pay off.
