A couple questions on finding mines

Hi.. I've been searching for mines and would like to know a couple things. When you claim a zone does it actually tell you that you found a mine like it does the buildings? or do I have to search the mines option on every one of my zones. Second question is can you have mines in zones without buildings?

The Land/build - mines tab will tell you if you have any resource zones in your entire empire .
I think this is the only way to know if you have mineable land, never found a mine in any new territory I claimed.

It won't tell you if you got a mine. It's advisable to check the mines page after claiming land. Note that the Mines page will display available Mines over the WHOLE of your empire, so it is not necessay to check it for each zone.
Yes you can have mines in zones without buildings. Mines are not buildings per se, they're just...there.
Personally none of my mine-zones are buildable.

for soem reason i have no problem in finding mines, i got 2 basic metals ,a preceous metals mine and combustibles. if only i had money to build them  . although my empire is quite big ( 170 zones which is a bitch on my income) and all of them are in zones that can have buildings which is qutie good as there factories sowont have to ship minerals between zones.

minerals dont go in any spacific zone like units and ammo and such, they can be used in any zone.
Your not quite big, try 5232 zones, thats quite big.
Now officially its 1:300 for mines, dont say you cant understand why no one can find mines just because you got extremely lucky, I know some with over 1k zones and no mines.

well reviewing it you never said you cant understand why no one can find mines but you said for some reason you have no trouble finding them.
Sorry if I offended you or over reacted.
You have been really lucky though.
In all my zone I have a total of 2 PM mines, I have the hardest time finding them and thats what I need more of too.

and do you mean.... 5235 ZONES or 5235 KM^2?
cuz ummm 5235 zones is alot

DR some of the larger emps, Genyosha Prime or Clan Frost Badger and such. They'll probably help you out, since your a nooby and thus won't try to steal them. Shop around. Don't send a Nev wide mail with the same emp, might get a lot of unwelcome guests. Also try chat, be cautious there.
