Hex bases
      #75314 - 10/26/03 02:58 PM (216.24.105.186)

I know this has come up before, but I cannot remember or find the answer.

Is there still a place online or somewhere out there who is selling the non-RP or NON Iron Wind Hex bases for battletech?

Found a way to make the resin ones, but I wanted to maybe go with metal, not really sure that resin would be heavy enough for some of the big boys.

I have used metal hex bases produced by Reaper Miniatures. Look in the fantasy section of your favorite miniatures store and odds are they will carry the Reaper line ( by the way if anyone out there is looking for reasonably priced metal fantasy minis Reaper is definately the way to go, they have very nice figures).
I first used there hex bases for my Griffins because they need a wider hex base but they'll work for any mini. Just this week I mounted a new Mad Cat Mark II on one.
Find them on the web at www.reapermini.com
Good luck!
