One of my empires was hit a while ago, I finnaly had time to write a lil' about it, so I bring you this tale piece by piece.
Stravag! prt1
On a random break from administering his clan, Khan “SCUM” was off-roading in his SRM Jeep in the countryside near Terra. ”Stravag!” cursed the Khan, as one of his warriors sent him a radio message that four enemy battlemechs accompanied by vehicles had started to take undefended areas immediately after declaring war and deploying into a drop zone. “Let them continue to take land, but send all defenders to the cities.” “Should we not defend our borders Khan?” “Neg, what is more important, uninhabitable swampland or our cities?” “My Khan, shall we spread our forces evenly between our cities?” “Neg, leave only token forces in the surrounding villages, Terra is our main concern, it will cost them dearly to take terra.” “Aff.” With that, the radio went silent.
Several hours later, most of the warriors had assembled themselves in the immediate area surrounding the capitol, waiting for the invaders to reach them. Another radio message had arrived , “My Khan, they have taken Port Arthur, there were 36 civilians in that town.” “It is regrettable to have lost any of our cities, however the forces we could have had there will be better used here.” The warriors continued to wait.
Suddenly the radio sprang to life, “Contacts!” “Distance, 1 kilometer!”. “Ah, the surats show themselves.” Said the Khan. “All points, enage at will!” Punching the accelerator, the Khan and his gunner were heading towards the opposition.
Three enemy mechs, a Grand Dragon, a Spider, and a Wolverine were attacking a group of Scorpion tanks. “They need reinforcements, get our mechs out there!” Three Javelins and the Khan’s Jeep were moving to intercept the enemy mech onslaught. “Where is the FireFly? We just spend several million neveron dollars to buy it, why is it not in the battle?” “The pilot was recently sent into training by your saKhan” “We will not be able to use him this battle, the training bunker is so heavily reinforced that radio signals simply cannot get through.”
Out of the corner of his eye, the pilot of the Grand Dragon noticed a Jeep and three enemy mechs approaching, normally a lowly Jeep would be ignored, however this one , was painted differently than the other enemy units and was adorned with various symbols. “This must be the emperor’s unit” He chuckled to himself. “A pity you are in such a small vehicle, your armies might not be able to continue fighting if you were to perish.” “FreeBirth!” Yelled the Khan, as he was forcefully ejected from his jeep by a bluish bolt of fiery energy. He could sense the battle around him up until the point where he landed on the ground. Suddenly his vision blurred, he heard noises, but was unsure of what they were; feeling increasingly tired, the Khan passed out.

Too bad your mech was in training. That happened to me with a good tank in my last war.

Actualy, it was a good thing he wasn't in battle, there was a reason he was in training. I think it only had 7gun at the time, nothing more than a walking target. He is much more skilled now.
