Messed up vehicle / unfixable ?

I have a J. Edgar Hover Tank that I arena'd with a long time ago sitting in my hangar right now doing nothing. He was critical hit twice, one which damaged the airskirt, decreasing the movement rate by -1 and then on the last round an AC-2 shot destroyed the airskirt as my tank destroyed the enemy. So I went repaired it at my FL repair bay (I bought the vehicle from him) and it repaired successfully, with the actual SUCCESS message, no partial or critical success repair. The thing is it only repaired it so its movement rate is 1/2 now. When it got back from repairs, it still gives me the CRITICAL damaged unit in the unit list, so I click on it and it brings me straight to the repair bay but it has no option to repair anything, as if the vehicle has no damage. Is this due to 2 critical hits creating 2 separate damage tables and the one repair only corrected one table ? Or is it just a moot point and I should scrap it to save on upkeep (3 ML's make horrible defense turret hehe).

Some damage is just plain unrepairable. Scrap it for parts, and move on.

Don't forget that there is a 50/50 chance that you will get your JED back in pristine condition by scrapping it.

Only if it's undamaged.

as long as its not an engine crit it should've repaired. if you're ABSOLUTELY sure you never got a "repair failed" message, it might be a bug, but it was probably caused by lag, not by bad code. probably just scrap it.

Yeah but I think it is undamaged.
The Hoverskirt was repaired, thus giving back one move point, and then it tried to repair the lift fan, but since its movement wasn't 0/0, Nev deemed the lift fan not needing repairs (atleast, I think thats what happens... I've seen this issue before.)
Thus the inability to repair, because nev doesn't think its broke? Or maybe its just unrepairable damage (or unexplained and unfixable bugs, simply called unrepairable damage to disillusion us all.)...

true, I guess you could at least send in a help ticket (or bug ticket or whatever)

Well are you 100% certain the immobilizing damage was a lift lan crit? Afaik an engine crit on a vec (like Stalker17 mentioned) has the very same effect with the minor difference that it is unrepairable and does not appear as critical damage (other then the unit being listed as critical). So what you describe would perfectly fit a vec engine crit rather than a destroyed lift fan. And in that case I am afraid your only option is to scrap the Jed

also, if it was an engine crit I've had the same thign with being able to repair air skirts to get back a few MP. I had a striker once, I think it lost an axle AND the engine and I was able to repair the axle and speed was restored (strangely, it was restored to 5/7, not 5/8, i think I had a crit failure on a wheel on it too)
