The One Hundred Thirty-eight Regiment (member of 1st RCT) was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XXVI Corps, Tenth Army, to District 3 of the Free Worlds League Military Region, but was moved to an undisclosed area of the Periphery.[1]. The 138th survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign, and followed General Aleksandr Kerensky on the Exodus in 2784.[1]

As an SLDF Dragoon regiment the 138th would have been composed primarily of heavy to assault 'Mechs, tanks and hovercraft.[2]
