The origins of the 180th Dragoon Combat Group are not known, however there is speculation that the command was originally the 238th Striker Regiment that may have turned mercenary in 2784 although this in unconfirmed.[1]

It is the heaviest unit in the Brigade, design for assault combat. The main mission for the last 300 years was to act as ambos for the other regiment and fought many campaigns. During the FedCom Civil War they fought against the 11th Avalon Hussars on Brockway and act later as a relief force for the allied forces on Panpour. On Panpour the unit hammered two entire March Militias in the ground. DeMaestri's Sluggers regiment of the Fighting Urukhai were nearly destroyed while they act on their own goals and the pro Katherine forces make short work with them.

Colonel Marie Stevens command the unit at the moment and is a soldier with higher standards of battle.

As a surprise for the opponent the 180th Dragoon can close a distance gap quickly, which is hard for the assault machines
