• The Kearny-Fuchida Drive was perfected.
• August 28 - a prototype JumpShip is towed to a jump point 7 AU about the north pole of Sol.
• September 3 - The research ship Volga transmits jump signal. In less then one minute the prototype JumpShip rematerializes 7 AU below Sol's south pole.
