The Twenty-nineth BattleMech Division was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army.

In 2764, the unit was stationed alongside with the 70th Infantry Division on New Earth[1], assigned as a part of the X Corps, First Army, to the Terran Military Region and then transferred to District 1 of the Capellan Confederation Military Region in 2765 to take part in the Periphery Uprising.[2] The 29th was destroyed during the Amaris Civil War.[2]

The commanding officer in 2764 is Major General Eduardo de la Garza.[3]

As an SLDF BattleMech Division the 29th would have been composed with two Brigades of 'Mech regiments and one brigade of Mechanized Infantry regiments.[4]
