The 802nd Independent Aero Wing was a part of the Star League Defense Force Regular Army. They later became attached to the Free Worlds League's Eleventh Atrean Dragoons.

The Star League[edit]
In 2764, the unit was assigned, as a part of the XLI Corps, Ninth Army, to District 2 of the Free Worlds League Military Region and then transferred to an undisclosed district within the Periphery by 2765.[1]
Free Worlds League[edit]
The 802nd survived the Periphery Uprising and the Hegemony Campaign, to be absorbed by the Free Worlds League Military by 2784.[1]
