Planetary History[edit]

First Succession War[edit]

Anegasaki was one of a number of worlds to be captured by the Free Worlds League Military during the invasion of the Capellan Confederation that began in 2787. While the initial thrust of the invasion had been aimed towards Sarna, a second front had been opened in 2789 following the Capellan Confederation Armed Forces taking heavy losses in the Calloway VI system as a result of a failed attack. Forced onto the defensive, the CCAF was pushed back by numerous FWLM successes; the momentum of the FWLM campaign wasn't disrupted until 2793, when the Twenty-first Centauri Lancers launched an attack against Anegasaki that saw the Fourth Marik Militia destroyed. The successful counterattack forced Captain-General Kenyon Marik to shift his efforts to securing worlds that he'd already seized, with the FWLM high command spending months moving forces to new locations and restructuring their logistics and supply chains in an effort to hold the line of worlds won during the six years of campaigning.[11]
