BattleSpace Rule Book contains the 2nd generation of Aerospace rules for Battletech. The Rules book itself was part of the BattleSpace Box set which contained; cardboard playing pieces, Battlespace Source book, dice, and record sheets.

The rules set adapted from the FASA Leviathan space game. The game included first rules for Battletech use WarShips. In addition, the Rulebook also included rules dealing with Aerospace Fighters, DropShips interactions in all phases play from space to ground. Construction rules for all types of aerospace craft were included as well. The book also covered basic and advance rules of game play. The original Technical Readout: 3057 was designed as companion book for BattleSpace rules, containing wide spectrum of vehicles using the rules and stats.

BattleSpace rules was replaced by Aerotech 2 rule book.
