The Brundage system was home to at least one habitable world, Brundage IV, and as of 3152 was located in the remains of the Tancredi Operational Area of the Draconis March within the Federated Suns.[4][5]

System Description[edit]

The Brundage system is located near the Bremond and Ottumwa systems[4][5] and consists of a class G4V primary orbited by five planets. It lies Spinward from Terra.[2]

System History[edit]

The Brundage system was settled during or shortly before the Age of War, and by the end of the era was a part of the Federated Suns.[6]

Brundage IV - more commonly known simply as Brundage - is the fourth planet in the system.[1]

Planetary History[edit]

Brundage is a water-poor world in the Draconis March. Originally settled in the hopes that the vast mountain ranges would contain jewels and metal ores, most of the colonists left when the mountains were found to be rocks. The few people who remained started to grow crops in the few valleys that contained water.[1]

In 3025 rumors began circulating that there was a lost Star League storage facility in the planet's vast mountain ranges. These rumors brought thousands of people to the world seeking treasure. The sudden population increase stretched the planet's food production capability to the limit. Duke Kincaid applied to the Federated Suns government for aid.[1]
