History[edit]

The Fox-class corvette Robinson was in service with the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth in 3062[1] and remained a part of the Federated Suns black water navy during the FedCom Civil War. The Robinson was one of twelve Fox-class WarShips to remain in service with the AFFS after the devastation of the Civil War.[2]

The Robinson also fought in the climactic battle at New Avalon on 8 November 3066; operating alongside the Avalon-class cruiser FCS Melissa Davion[3] and three Allied sister ships[3]—the FCS Admiral Corinne Donnings, FCS Intrepid, and FCS Kentares[4]—the Intrepid faced two Loyalist Avalons, the Alexander Davion and the Lucien Davion,[3] as well as a pair of Foxes: the FCS Antrim[4] and FCS Murmansk.[3] The resulting battle saw the Intrepid disabled and the Admiral Corinne Donnings destroyed in the early stages; the Kentares then maneuvered itself into close proximity of the Alexander Davion and executed a tactic that shocked both forces—the Kentares activated her K-F Drive, destroying both ships.[4] The Kentares and the Alexander Davion were the last ships to be destroyed in the battle, as the Lucien Davion surrendered after taking heavy damage and the Murmansk executed a jump from a pirate point, vanishing without trace.[3]

The FSS Robinson was captured in the opening stages of the Jihad by the Word of Blake, who operated the ship as a part of their fleet; the Robinson was serving alongside another suborned ship of her class, the LAS Robert Kelswa, in the Benjamin system in 3072, when both were destroyed in action.[5]
