History[edit]

The FWLS Phyrgia, an Impavido-class destroyer, had been due to enter service in December 3058, but problems with the maneuvering drive fittings identified during testing a month before launch and as a result the Phyrgia didn't complete testing and shakedown trials under the command of Lieutenant Commander Diran Adebeyo until early to mid 3059.[1]

By 3067 the Phyrgia had been in service for the better part of a decade and was one of three destroyers of her class known to be on active service, serving alongside the FWLS Impavido and FWLS Janos Marik.[2] The Phyrgia and another Free Worlds League destroyer, the Essex-class FWLS Raven, were destroyed in the Atreus system in 3077 by the Word of Blake.[3]
