Correct Image[edit]

This image is not correct. For unknown reasons, the good one is called "Takashi Kurita cs2.jpg", but when I try to upload it with this name I get an error duplicate image... any idea how can this be sorted?--Pserratv (talk) 07:00, 16 January 2019 (EST)

I was going to move this file here to a correct name - but what article is correct? A search for File:Support gives three distinct versions, all different from this one. Is there perhaps a fourth version? Frabby (talk) 16:04, 16 January 2019 (EST)
If you use the link on this file page to the one article that uses it, that article is for the Takashi Kurita card, which is displaying correctly. It looks like Doneve uploaded the wrong file with the same name at some point after the original was uploaded, but the version Doneve uploaded - even though it's incorrect - isn't showing up. I can't see why it wouldn't be, as it's listed as the current one, but understanding why is beyond my ken. Image files are weird. BrokenMnemonic (talk) 06:30, 17 January 2019 (EST)
The problem is that it does not allow me to upload the good photo... it says it is a copy of an existing one, and by the way images on cards are displayed... I cannot bypass this!--Pserratv (talk) 06:43, 17 January 2019 (EST)
Very weird indeed. I tried to "undo" Doneve's upload of the second (wrong) picture, and the system came back telling me it was already undone. Since both images are kept in the file history, I suspect the latest upload is displayed on the File main page while the reference pointer used when the image is called from an article actually points to the earlier (correct) image. Finally I was able to change the image!!--Pserratv (talk) 04:56, 21 January 2019 (EST)
What did you do/how did you do it? Frabby (talk) 07:58, 21 January 2019 (EST)
When the image gets the error, I found that there also appear some buttons at the bottom to skip some actions. One of them says skip error... I tried and it worked.--Pserratv (talk) 08:31, 21 January 2019 (EST)
