Planet History[edit]
Star League Era[edit]
Lukla (also known as Luckla) was a part of the Sian Commonality of the Capellan Confederation, located near Anegasaki and Ipswich, and was colonized by the Capellan Confederation during the Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War.[5][6][14][16]
First Succession War[edit]
Lukla was conquered by the Free Worlds League between 2791 and 2796.[10] In mid-2804 Captain-General Thaddeus Marik withdrew all of the federal troops from the Duchy of Oriente in retaliation for Duke Carter Allison objecting to Thaddeus' claim to the title of Captain-General of the Free Worlds League. When the Capellan Strategios was able to confirm the withdrawal of the Free Worlds League Military troops, they responded by immediately deploying forward troops from Anegasaki, Ipswich and Pella II to assault systems within the Duchy, making swift gains including the recapture of Lukla.[11]
In 2805 the Strategios stripped the defending garrison on Lukla of troops to launch a third attack on Oriente, determined to try and capture the world and cripple a key Free Worlds League province before Thaddeus could send reinforcements. The attack failed thanks to the arrival of Thaddeus at the head of a substantial naval fleet and ground task force, and in 2806 the Free Worlds League had returned to the offensive. By the end of 2806 Lukla was back under League control.[12]
Third Succession War[edit]
Lukla vanished from maps during the Third Succession War[15][17] indicating that the planet had been abandoned or depopulated.

Notes[edit]
- Luckla appears to be an alternate spelling or name for Lukla. As Lukla is the most recently-used name, both appear to share the same coordinates, and they do not appear to be similarly-named planets within the same system, it has been decided to merge the two articles.
