The Meat Tree is a fruit bearing tree native to the world of Marlowe's Rift.[1]
Description[edit]
The Meat Tree bears a citrus fruit that had the same taste and consistency of cooked beef. This fruit became the center of a vast agricultural industry where the tree was grown in huge groves during the Star League era. The fruit of the Meat Tree was then harvested and shipped across the Inner Sphere as a vegetarian alternative to meat. However, the wealth this plant helped to generate led to several pirate attacks on Marlowe's Rift.[1]
