Operation 3, Mission 2[edit]
BRIEFING[edit]
Sorenson: Give me footage from the old flythrough. We have a Smoke Jaguar fortress sitting here, just off our main path of advancement. That presents a problem. The terrain is fairly open. If we bypass the fortress – that's it, coming up on the left – the Clanners could easily shift heavy forces into our rear. That fortress has to come down, and all enemy 'Mechs in the area destroyed.
Sorenson: When you're ready, head to this site. It gives us the choice of two routes across the river.
Sorenson: Lance Leader, the MFBs are badly in need of refit and repair. Intel suggests that the facility at Op Point Able will give us the materials that we need. Clear out the area, and then call us when you think it's safe.
Sorenson: I'm still working on our next mission. MechWarrior Keith Andrew has radioed in some strange movement from the city – a convoy heading southwest. If that's a flanking maneuver, we may have to divert from our proposed route. I'll keep you informed. Out.
DURING MISSION[edit]
Female Jaguar: Shadow Hawks, prepare to engage. I have them on radar. Here they come!
Sorenson: I'm picking up intermittent contacts. I'll keep you advised.
Sorenson: New contacts! You have a Sunder coming in from the west, Lance Leader.
Epona: Hey, isn't that Sunder one of ours?
Alan Mattila: Are you reading me? Hi Damocles Commando. Looks like you could use some help.
Female Jaguar: No mercy!
Female Jaguar: Aaaaaaaaaahhhhh!
Sorenson: I think that's it, Lance Leader. MechWarrior Mattila, welcome aboard. Nice timing.

Sorenson: Good work, Lance Leader. When those forces moved in, I thought we were finished. Thanks for the cavalry, Alan. We know what happened to the Black Hammer, though, as usual, we've got good news and bad.
