MechWarrior 3/Pirate Mission 10

Mission 10[edit]

BRIEFING[edit]

Scourge: Things are getting pretty dicey around here. Both sides have taken heavy losses. There’s probably not a speck of dirt out there without blood on it. Four camps are left: two of ours, two of theirs. Command wants that to read four of ours and none of theirs by the end of the day, which is where we come in.

Scourge: Our job is to secure all four camps, meaning clear the enemy camps and make sure our camps stay under our control. Considering there’s only four of us, that’s going to be pretty tough. We’ll need to take out all the enemy ‘Mechs, then put a ‘Mech at each camp to hold it until the backup arrives.

Scourge: Intel says the minimum unit needed to secure a camp is a ‘Mech. Too many partisans out there for groundpounders to do the job. So, if we lose a ‘Mech, we’re in it deep. Neck deep.

Scourge: Nothing like a simple war, eh?

DURING MISSION[edit]

Scourge: Listen up, people! We need to keep it together on this one. Each of you needs to stay in one piece if we’re gonna secure all these bases. So no heroics! Get me?

Trey: Reading you loud and clear, sir.

Deuce: Acknowledged, sir.

Blaze: Let’s get going!

[If Able Base is attacked]

Able Base: All units, we are under attack. Render immediate assistance.

Scourge: Copy that, Able Base. I’m on it.

[If Able Base is overrun.]

Able Base: Able Base to all units! [drowned out by weapons fire] fall back to rendezvous [drowned out]

Scourge: Copy that. Scourge out.

Susie Ryan: Scourge, you will defend the remaining base or you will answer to me! Are we clear?

Scourge: Crystal!

[If Baker Base is attacked]

Baker Base: This is Baker Base. We are under attack. Render immediate assistance!

Scourge: Copy that, Captain. Scourge out.

[If a ‘Mech dies]

Scourge: Scourge to Control. We just lost a ‘Mech. Please advise.

[When Charlie Base is secured]

Scourge: Scourge to all units. Charlie Base is pacified and ready to be secured.

[When Dog Base is secured]

Scourge: Scourge to all units! Dog Base is pacified and ready to be secured.

[When all sites are secured and garrisoned]

Scourge: Scourge to all units. Report!

Trey: Everything’s clear here, boss.

Deuce: My site is secure, sir.

Blaze: Same here, sir. No enemies in sight.

Scourge: Scourge to Control. All Madre base sites are secure.

Susie Ryan: Nice work, Scourge. Your relief is on the way. Once you’re clear, you and your mates are on a 72 hour liberty. Enjoy yourselves. You’ve earned it.

Scourge: Thank you, Ma’am. Scourge out!
