BRIEFING

Scourge: When the Federated Suns hit our base, I don’t think they realized what that would do to Suzie Ryan. I’ve never seen our Mistress so angry. It’s terrifying and exhilarating at the same time. She plans to pay them back…in spades.

Scourge: Actually, she wants…she hopes…to pay them back. It’s my plan.

Scourge: From our staging point, I intend to intercept a convoy hauling much needed supplies away from the ruin of our old base. I have to catch the trucks before they make the canyon. Once the supplies are secure and any enemies have been dealt with appropriately, we hit the base and retake it. Without reinforcements, the small garrison force cannot hope to hold.

Scourge: Mistress Ryan refers to me as her scourge against the FedSuns do-gooders. Time to live up to that name.

DURING MISSION

Scourge: Scourge One to Commander Ryan. Phase One underway. En route to enemy convoy.

Suzie Ryan: Copy that, Scourge. Try not to get the pretty trucks dirty. I want them intact.

Scourge: They’ll be dent free and factory fresh, Commander Ryan.

Scourge: Pirate force to Convoy Leader. Abandon your trucks at once, if you’re fond of living.

Convoy Leader: You’ve left us no choice. We’ll comply, but don’t think you’ll get away with this, pirate.

Scourge: Heh heh heh heh heh. We already have!

Federated Suns MechWarrior: Attention pirate commander. Cease hostilities and stand down at once!

Scourge: I’m afraid I can’t do that. Catch me if you can!

Cutlass Lance: Cutlass Lance to Scourge. Would you like an assist?

Scourge: About time some help showed! What are your coordinates?

Cutlass Lance: Swing by our position and we’ll show your friends a warm welcome.

Scourge: Not a bad idea, Cutlass. Scourge out.

Base Garrison: Mayday! Mayday! Preparing for overrun. Please advise!

Scourge: Attention! All remaining Federated Suns personnel. This base is under my control. Stand down and you’ll be well treated. Resist and…well, you get the idea. Scourge out.
