Archon Speaks at New Avalon Parade

During the fanfare and pageantry of the Fifth Donegal Guards’ and Nineteenth Arcturan Guards’ regimental combat teams’ parade through the streets of Avalon City on New Avalon this past week, Archon Princess Katrina Steiner gave an unscheduled speech before the assembled masses. Steiner spoke of the ever-renewing need for “excellence and dedication to the Federated Commonwealth in these trying times, when the discontented few rise up in surreptitious insurrection.” Her talk continued for some ten minutes, full of what analysts are calling attacks on her brother Prince Victor Davion. Some of the Archon’s more outspoken detractors have pointed out that bringing both of these high-profile commands to New Avalon could paint her as “worried” or even “afraid.”
