Nancy Jerrold was an officer of the Federated Suns Military.

History[edit]

Nancy Jerrold was a MechWarrior in the Second Crucis Lancers during the War of 3039. Fighting on Exeter during the Combine's counterattack, her company was overhelmed and she was officially listed as Missing in Action. Mistakenly believed to be a MIIO spy by ISF, she endured weeks of torture. Not only she was able to escape, even wounded, the ISF camp and made her way back to the Federated Commonwealth that she carried information on the Combine's forces so valuable that she was promoted and transferred to the MIIO. Her right arm and jaw were replaced during reconstructive surgery by the NAIS.

After the war, she remained with the MIIO and still listed as Missing in Action. In 3046, now Major, she was given the opportunity to transfer to NAIS to establish a Crisis Intervention Team. Her team set a standard that would be used for future Crisis Teams. In 3053 her team was sent to Solaris after the disappearance of the Dark Mirage team.[1]

Character Traits[edit]

Nancy Jerrold is in her late thirties though at first glance she appears much younger. The burn scars on her left arm and two thick streaks of gray hair contrasting with her natural black hint at her real age and experience, but her prototype bionic right arm and facial prosthetic are sleek and appear both natural and youthful. A trained eye can detect a dragon unit-insignia worn as a wristband on her scarred left arm (taken from the ISF operative that wounded her in a previous operation).[1]

Notes[edit]

  • The success of the Unbound mission depends on the players' actions.
  • She was said to be fighting on the world of Exter on the War of 3039. This seems a misspelling of the planet Exeter.
  • The Second Crucis Lancers were not fighting in the War on 3039, and neither was in Exeter. Seeing who fought on Exeter we can expect that Nancy Jerrold either belonged to the Exeter Militia or the Fourth Davion Guards. The First NAIS Cadet Cadre unit is eliminated from being a possibility as she is said to not have been involved with NAIS at that time.
