The Nova Cat, namesake of Clan Nova Cat, is described as a sleek, black-furred, ruthless predator. Its native world is Dagda. It is known for its mane of poisonous quills that help protect it from other predators, specifically the Sphinx Raptor. When its mane is up, the spines resemble a Star gone nova.
The Nova Cat Clan took several of these animals to Irece when they left the Clan Homeworlds.[1]
