Rick Dekker was a fighter in Solaris VII's BBL fighting for the Regulus Wrath Stables during the Dark Age.[1]
He did participate in the 3086 Championship.[1]
Rick was paired against Lee Lumley for his third week match. Lumley had a hard time hitting Dekker's Rifleman, while Dekker was more concerned about keeping out of range from the Crusader's missile swarm than damaging Lumley. When time expired, both combatants gained one point for the Draw.[1]
For week five, he was matched against Tracy Vanberchum. The match was literally explosive, and after several good exchanges of weapons fire an ammo explosion late in the match ripped apart Vanberchum's Marauder and put her in the hospital with minor injuries.[2]
In the eight week he was paired against Calvin Frost (from the Black Ronin Stables), both of them sitting in the Division Four's basement. The fight was brutally short. Frost used his Hachiwara's Supercharger to rapidly close on Dekker's Rifleman. The combination of Frost's autocannon and vibroblade left the Dekker's 'Mech a wreck and Frost the victor.[3]
