This is a listing of minor characters associated with ComStar.

Jacob Arevalo[edit]

As of 3073, Jacob Arvealo was a ComStar Adept. During the Word of Blake Jihad Arevalo was the supervising technician on projects to develop upgraded versions of the Beowulf and Zero for the Com Guards. Arevalo was apparently terminated by ComStar and died after 3073, though this remains a highly suspicious subject. [1] [2]

Richard Burbage[edit]

As of June 2906, Richard Burbage was an ComStar Adept. Burbage wrote The Tracking of Saber published by ComStar Press in the same year, which detailed his attempts to discover the identity of Saber, the ROM operative who assassinated the Mad Primus Dwight Kurstin. [3]

Brian Carmichael[edit]

As of 3056, Brian Carmichael was a Precentor V in the Com Guards. Carmichael gave the keynote speech to the 3056 graduating class from Sandhurst Royal Military Academy. [4]

Adal Corvin[edit]

Adal Corvin was the Project Leader for House Liao Documentation Development Program.[5]

Aristoxenos Crandall[edit]

As of 3039, Aristoxenos Crandall was an Acolyte VII in the Com Guards. Descended from a famed SLDF Gunslinger, Aristoxenos was stationed in the 91st Division and piloted a Champion like his famed ancestor. While modelling himself on his ancestor, even receiving permission to paint his 'Mech in the same scheme when parade white was not required, Aristoxenos however lacked the skills in cockpit of Captain Aristole Crandall.[6]

Shintaro Datsin[edit]

As of August 10th 3052, Shintaro Datsin was a Com Guards Adept in command of a Level II of the 12th Division when he submitted a report on the actions of 12th in Holth Forest during the Battle of Tukayyid. One of the survivors of Tukayyid, Datsin piloted a Lancelot during combat against the 7th Bear Guards Cluster.

Anette Dawn[edit]

As of 3075, Anette Dawn was an Demi-Precentor in the Com Guards. Joining the Guards after their actions during the Battle of Tukayyid, while her faith in the Order was shaken by the unmasking of Primus Mori as a Combine agent during the Jihad, Dawn chose to remain loyal and was quickly promoted to command of a mixed Level III in the 56th Division, leading her unit to methodically eliminated Blakist forces during the capture of Galatea. [7]

Grace Falls[edit]

As of 3071, Grace Falls was an Adept X in Com Guards. A member of the Invisible Truths fighter screen during Task Force Serpent, Falls crippled and forced the surrender of a Ghost Bear Union-C at Trafalgar at the controls of a Hammerhead-E. During the Jihad Falls was in command of the Fallen Grace Squadron, an independent Level II based Leopard CV carried by a Lithium-Fusion Battery equipped Magellan interdicting Blakist shipping and targets of opportunity. The Blakists responded to the squadron's success by placing an eight million C-Bill bounty on Falls head.[8]

Duncan Fergusson[edit]

As of 3059, Duncan Fergusson was a Cadet Epsilon II at Sandhurst. Assigned to Acid Rain II-Alpha in one of the College's training regiments, Fergusson was assigned to pilot a Crockett when the Word of Blake invaded Terra. Among the forces that resisted the initial Blakist attack against Sandhurst, Fergusson was blown out of his 'Mech during the cadet's final battle outside Lampeter, his body never found.[9]

Bletchley Finch[edit]

As of 3071, Bletchley Finch was an Demi-Precentor in Com Guards. an Adept in the 83rd Division, Finch piloted a Zero during the Word of Blake invasion of Tall Trees in 3067, taking command of the division's shattered fighter screen to punch through the Blakist orbital forces to allow the 83rd's DropShips to escape. In recognition of her efforts, Finch was promoted and reassigned to command the Invisible Truths fighter screen. [10]

Sergei Gavilov[edit]

As of 2959, Sergei Gavilov was initially a Precentor Theta XI, commanding a JumpShip in ComStar's massive naval contingent. Gavilov was selected by Primus Adrienne Sims and the First Circuit as the first Director of the ComStar Explorer Service. Over the next year Gavilov spent every working hour assembling the new branch from personnel and equipment from the Blessed Order's existing branches, most notably ROM and then new ComStar Guards and Military. the initial exploratory teams being organized and trained by late 2960. Under Gavilov's leadership the Explorer Service established an agressive exploration program, the first mission launched on 24 February 2961 when the Providence jumped from Land's End. Gavilov remained DES until 2977 when ill-health prompted him to stand down in favor of Athena Heath.[11]

Meryle Gellman[edit]

As of 2883, Meryle Gellman was an Precentor who submitted From the Karpov Years, a report on the years of Raymond Karpov's reign as Primus, to the ComStar Archives. [12]

Athena Heath[edit]

As of 2977, Athena Heath was Precentor Xi XIII in the ComStar Explorer Service. Heath had served aboard the Endurance, the fourth Explorer Service vessel to see service. When founding Director Seregi Gavilov stood down due to ill-health, Heath was selected as his replacement, and under her guidance the Explorer Service became known as the ComStar Explorer Corps as the branch began to mount purely scientific missions such as those of the Fortitude, Discovery and Herschel. Heath would ultimately die in office in 3021 and was succeeded by Sumire Hiyama.[11]

Valerie Heron[edit]

As of 3067, Valerie Heron was an Adept in Com Guards. Piloting a Rogue-LX in the 2nd Division, Heron made ace during her first engagement against the initial assault Word of Blake fighters during the invasion of Epsilon Indi in the Jihad. An outnumbered Heron was ultimately killed during the next Blakist wave, one of the 2nd Division CO's last acts before the division was destroyed was to request ComStar's highest honours for her.[13]

Einar Halldórsson[edit]

As of 3073, Einar Halldórsson was an Adept in the Com Guards. Fighting against Clan Ghost Bear during the Battle of Tukayyid, Halldórsson attracted such a reputation for his skill to attract repeated challenges from the Ghost Bears in the years since. A member of the 104th Division when it was smashed in 3068, Halldórsson was later assigned to an independent anti-Blakist raiding unit, his fame and skill allowing him to modify his stock Grim Reaper with both Clan-Tech equipment and Modular Armor. Halldórsson would ultimately die in combat at an "undisclosed location". [14]

Vanye Highfield[edit]

As of 3068, Vanye Highfield was an Demi-Precentor in Com Guards. A veteran of both Tukayyid and Operation Bulldog, Highfield was stationed on the Combine capital of Luthien. Known at the Kurita court for his wit and charm, Highfield became a close and respected associate of Hohiro Kurita, carrying out 'Mech exercises against the Heir-designate at the controls of his Champion. Highfield was recalled to Tukayyid after the outbreak of the Jihad and believed killed during Case White.[15]

Harmis Ichimoto[edit]

As of 3067, Harmis Ichimoto was an Acolyte V in Com Guards. Joining the organisation during the height of the FedCom Civil War, Ichimoto was assigned to the Tharkad based 66th Division piloting a Hermes, detached to a special recon unit that kept tabs on Peter Steiner-Davion's advance. Captured during the final weeks of the battle, Ichimoto was later released and fought with other survivors of the 66th during the Word of Blake invasion of Tharkad. [16]

Merle Jimmus[edit]

As of 3028, Merle Jimmus was an Adept XV-sigma on the ComStar Research Team Maximus tasked with writing the Star League history for the ComStar Archives, working alongside Adepts Nonda Toolippi and George Spelvin. [17] By 3052 Jimmus had risen to the position of Adept XXI-sigma and was selected to serve as project lead on the production of military Technical Readouts for ComStar [18]. Jimmus chose to remain with the secular Order after the ComStar Schism and was promoted to Demi-Precentor, reaching rank XIV-sigma in 3067. [19]

Will Kemp[edit]

As of January 3039, Will Kemp was an Adept who submitted Hilton Head, Then and Now, a report on the history of the Hilton Head Complex to the ComStar Archives. [20]

James Khauv[edit]

As of May 28th 3085, historian James Khauv was a Demi-Precentor in ComStar's Archival Division. [21]

Christopher Knight[edit]

As of 3039, Christopher Knight was an Demi-Precentor in the Com Guards. Knight attracted attention for his defeat three pirates on Poulsbo at the controls of his Guillotine, his attempts to deflect questions to his unusually high level of training and experience by insisting he's a recent graduate of Sandhurst not convincing representatives of the AFFC.[22]

James Larson[edit]

As of 3059, James Larson was an Adept in Com Guards. Commander of a Thor Artillery Vehicle in the 91st Division during the Battle of Tukayyid, Larson's crew played a notable role in shelling Clan Ghost Bear supply caches, receiving a commendations for their actions. Remaining with the secular Order, Larson would continue to serve in the 91st Division during its actions against Clan Smoke Jaguar on Schuyler and Huntress, later witnessing the Great Refusal on Strana Mechty. [23]

Michelle Lei[edit]

As of 3068, Michelle Lei was an Demi-Precentor in Com Guards. Born on Terra, Lei was a part of the 2nd Division when it undertook Task Force Serpent, later being transferred to the 104th Division on Orestes prior to the Jihad. Remaining loyal to the Order even after the unmasking of Primus Mori as a Combine spy, Lei was forced to fight defectors from her own Level III outside the Tyra Miraborg Memorial Academy, accounting for five kills before her Avatar-A was destroyed.[24]

Jerrold Lewis[edit]

Jerrold Lewis wrote ROM: The Blake Years, published by ComStar Press in 3020. [25]

Richard Loesch[edit]

As of 3071, Richard Loesch was an Adept VI in Com Guards. Part of a unit raiding Word of Blake targets in the Free Worlds League, Loesch was the first pilot to score a confirmed kill while at the controls of the newly developed HCT-215 Hellcat II, defeating a Blakist Level II in the Marcus system. [26]

Tooly Lorenzo[edit]

As of January 3rd 3040, Tooly Lorenzo was an ROM Adept stationed on Northwind when he submitted Inncident Report 203234-OGDN. Undercover as a Lieutenant in the quartermaster offices of the Northwind Highlanders, Lorenzo monitored the movements of the mercenary unit from 3034, avoiding detection until late 3039 when he eliminated a junior MIIO agent reporting to Lorenzo's MIIO counterpart, an agent code-named Dark Storm, who attempted to expose him as part of Operation Flush. [27]

Simon Lowenstein[edit]

As of 3074, Simon Lownenstein was an ComStar Adept assigned as the supervising technician of a Jihad era upgrade project for the Tessen. [28]

Adien M'Ripon[edit]

As of 3055, Adien M'Ripon was an Adept I-omega on the ComStar Research Team-chi tasked with writing the classified ComStar history for the ComStar Archives, working alongside both Adepts Nonda Toolippi and Norash Murrilvellthiun. [29]

Anastasia Marcus[edit]

As of 3028, Anastasia Marcus was the Historical Director on the Davion Research Project. [30]

Richard McGivers[edit]

As of 3064, Richard McGivers was an Adept in Com Guards. Commander of Level II of Kanga Hovertanks in 244th Division, McGivers was a member of the division when it declared for Victor Steiner-Davion during the FedCom Civil War. McGivers died in combat against pro-Katherine militia forces on Halfway in 3064. [31]

Julius Minock[edit]

As of 3002, Julius Minock was a Precentor who wrote ComStar Bulletin "A Consideration of the MIIO" for the ComStar Archives on Terra. [32]

Igarashi Miya[edit]

As of 3058, Igarashi Miya was Precentor-VI Lambda/Omega overseeing the production of the Inner Sphere Combat Vehicle section for ComStar's Technical Readouts for the years of 3058[33], 3060[34], and 3067, where he had reached the rank of Precentor XV [35]

Callia Monar[edit]

Callia Monar wrote Brief Candle: The Short Life of Free Rasalhague, published by ComStar Press in 3055. [36] Monar would later pen Fire in the Heavens: The History of War in the Inner Sphere, published by ComStar Press in 3056. [37]

Nadia Morgan[edit]

Nadia Morgan was an Acolyte stationed on Nykvarm during the Clan Invasion, later writing Aiding the Enemy: Nykvarm Under Occupation published 3055 by ComStar Press about her experiences with the harshness and ignorance of world's Clan Smoke Jaguar governor. [38]

Norash Murrilvellthiun[edit]

As of 3055, Norash Murrilvellthiun was an Adept XV-sigma on the ComStar Research Team-chi tasked with writing the classified ComStar history for the ComStar Archives, working alongside both Adepts Nonda Toolippi and Adien M'Ripon. [29] Murrilvellthiun later provided Precentor Jeffery Layton with information that disputed Layton's Objective Raids report on the fate of the LexaTech Industries Land Air 'Mech plant on Irece. [39]

Robert Mykelby[edit]

As of 3067, Roboert Mykelby was an Adept X Epsilon in the Com Guards 2nd Division. Joining the division a few months before Operation Serpent was launched, Mykelby fought against Clan Smoke Jaguar on Huntress at the controls of his Falconer. Emotionally effected by the loss of so many comrades on Huntress, the highly effective MechWarrior was also strident critic of Victor Steiner-Davion's role in both launching Operations Serpent and Bulldog as well as ComStar's losses in the FedCom Civil War. [40]

George Ninetrees[edit]

George Ninetrees was the House Marik Project Leader.[41]

Antonian Nokaj[edit]

As of November 2973, Antonian Nokaj was an senior Adept in the Explorer Corps when he submitted a report as part of ROM Investigation 22031-J into the actions of the crew ECV Divine Providence after their disastrous and violent encounter with the inhabitants of Trentwash II. [42]

Belvedere Plante[edit]

Belvedere Plante was an Adept in the Com Guards who prepared a report detailing the specifications of Tamo Bunker Tukayyid Strategic Command Post. [43]

Reack Pueghi[edit]

As of 3059, Reack Pueghi was an Adept VI Tau who submitted History of Modern Non-Governmental Organisations to the ComStar Institute, outlining the rise of intersellar aid organisations such as Borderless Hope during the Reunification War. [44]

Samantha Rigging[edit]

As of 3027 Samantha Rigging was an Adept assigned to ComStar Research Team B4785, writing an article on the Dragoon origins theory that Jaime Wolf and his unit were rogue Successor State troops seeking to play kingmaker included in the report submitted by Research Team B4785 to the Archives in 3030. [45]

Dirk Rijksmaan[edit]

Dirk Rijksmaan was assigned as head of ComStar Research Team B4785 in 3028, commissioned to develop an in-depth study of all the available information on the then secretive Wolf's Dragoons mercenary unit for the ComStar Archives on Terra. Rijksmaan was the head author of the report on the Dragoons submitted by Research Team B4785 to the Archives in 3030. [45]

Carla Rush[edit]

As of 3052, Carla Rush was an Adept IV in the Com Guards. Commanding two Level II formations of Pikes and Demolishers in defense of the HPG compound outside the court of Oberon Confederation leader Hendrik Grimm, Rush proved highly adept at locating and taking down the opposing commander's machine with concentrated fire during exercises against the Oberon Guards. Remaining on world after its capture by the Clan Wolf, Rush and her unit refused to participate in Operation Scorpion and avoided destruction, but were forced to leave newly distrustful Wolves. [46]

Sheila Sooter[edit]

As of April 2825, Sheila Sooter was an Adept who submitted ComStar Archives File 7760356-OGDN detailing the origins of the ComStar logo. [47]

Gillian Sorenson-Hague[edit]

Gillian Sorenson-Hague wrote the documentation on House Kurita for the ComStar Archives.[48]

George Spelvin[edit]

As of 3028, George Spelvin was an Adept I-omega on the ComStar Research Team Maximus tasked with writing the Star League history for the ComStar Archives, working alongside Adepts Nonda Toolippi and Merle Jimmus. [17] By 3049 he had risen to the rank of Precentor III-omega, writing a overview on the Federated Commonwealth for Kanrei Theodore Kurita that same year.[49]

Gerald Steiner-Nelson[edit]

Gerald Steiner-Nelson wrote the documentation on House Steiner for the ComStar Archives.[50]

Nonda Toolippi[edit]

As of 3028, Nonda Toolippi was an Adept XIX-delta on the ComStar Research Team Maximus tasked with writing the Star League history for the ComStar Archives, working alongside Adepts Merle Jimmus and George Spelvin. [17]

As of 3055, Nonda Toolippi was an Adept XIX-delta on the ComStar Research Team-chi tasked with writing the classified ComStar history for the ComStar Archives, working alongside both Adepts Norash Murrilvellthiun and Adien M'Ripon. [29]

Adam Torina[edit]

Precentor Adam Torina held a lecture on pre-Star League political history, an excerpt from which was included in the historical overview on House Kurita published by ComStar in 3025.[51]

Shepard Tremayne[edit]

As of 3075, Shepard Tremayne was an Adept Epsilon-V in the Com Guards. Tremayne was the pilot of the first Mongoose II to see combat, facing the Blakists during the recapture of Coventry.[52]

Janet Tsao Wu[edit]

As of 3019, Janet Tsao Wu was a Precentor and author of Free Worlds Federal Law for the ComStar Archives.[53]

Corrine Wexford[edit]

Corrine Wexford wrote Reading The Remembrance: A Dissertation on Clan Literature, published by ComStar Scholastic Press in 3055. [54]

Kevin Ziwiki[edit]

As of 3068, Kevin Ziwiki was an Adept in Com Guards. Joining the Order in the wake of the Battle of Tukayyid, Ziwiki was selected for MechWarrior training, demonstrating a flair for light 'Mech operations. Assigned to pilot a Thorn in the 31st Division, Ziwiki performed with distinction against Clan Smoke Jaguar during Operation Bulldog. His idealism shattered as the Com Guards disintegrated in the wake of the collapse of the reformed Star League, Ziwiki left ComStar with his 'Mech after Sharilar Mori was revealed to be a Combine agent, scratching out existence as a mercenary.
