Sarah Anne Wilder was a competitor in the Solaris VII championships for House Davion leaning Starlight Stables.[1]

History[edit]

A prominent duelist in the Solaris Games, at the start of the 3062 season, Wilder was ranked ninth in the Solaris Top Twenty.[1]

A high ranked contender for the ill-fated Grand Tournament that year, on 13 August 3062 Sarah Anne Wilder was scheduled for a match in Boreal Reach when the preceding match between House Davion fighter Teresa Dale and House Steiner fighter Craig Orme ended with Orme's "accidental" death and triggering widespread rioting among the spectators. Tensions also exploded in the Mech Bays below the Davion Arena with Wilder and another MechWarrior exchanging shots that ultimately damaged a power relay for the arena's famous holoprojectors. Though she claimed it was in self-defense, Sarah Anne Wilder had fired the first shot which ultimately resulted in her disqualification from the Grand Tournament.[2] Fellow Starlight warrior Isaak Kremms would gain a bye in the tournament thanks to Wilder's disqualification.[3]

Wilder would survive the Riots of 3062, and immediately prior to the Word of Blake Jihad was ranked third in the 3067 Top Twenty, though she was somewhat overshadowed by her stablemate Karl Edwards, arguably Starlight's most famous fighter. [4]
