History[edit]
Shamil Idrisov was a big Chechen from the Capellan Confederation. He was an Independent Gladiator, mostly remembered for his fight in 8 February 3064 against David Singh in his Grasshopper in The Jungle. The fight was a tough one for him, but he was finally able to make his thirty additional tons to win the match. That victory got him a slot in the Cathay Open Division and a chance to compete for the Grand Tournament.[1]
Tactics[edit]
Shamil Idrisov was brave and honest, a gutsy MechWarrior who would hang on during a fight that wasn't going his way. But he wasn't particularly imaginative. And it was that characteristic that would keep him out of the Grand Tournament forever.[1]
