Objective Raids '67 - a 'Quasi canonical source' claims that the 4D was being produced in, well, '67. May I ask which source the current data is from? --Greyhind 19:50, 20 March 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, Greyhind: you /may/ be asking the wrong people. While it doesn't hurt to ask here, MadCapellan is the author of that metasource and might be the faster person to ask. His thread can be found here. Hope this helps. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 20:02, 20 March 2010 (UTC)
Madcap has spoken
"Many of the designs which are constructed in the period between 3067-3070 appear because they were already in the planning/re-tooling stage leading up to their production. Producing a new 'Mech design requires that all the component lines already be in place, construction lines be laid out, and even prototypes assembled and tested before full production can begin and units start being issued to line units. In situations such as the AXM-4D, production facilities are being put in place as of 3067, and perhaps even a few prototypes are stomping around Johnston Industries' test fields, but no finished product has yet been delivered to the AFFS."
Apparently I jumped the gun in asking here because I had more faith in OR:'67 than I did in an article that at the time had no sources directly linked, sorry guys --Greyhind 07:06, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
No problem. We're still trying to inculcate the idea of refs for each statement added. If that had been done here, you would have been able to see the answer for yourself. We're getting there, though. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 12:26, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
