Black Hawk (BattleMech) vs. Black Hawk (Standard)[edit]

I started this new page based on a dead link on the Nova (Black Hawk) page (I think). I didn't run into dead links to the Black Hawk (Standard) notation until I was about 3/4 of the way through the link updates in various articles. As long as everything is consistent, does it matter whether or not this page is titled "Black Hawk (BattleMech)" when "Black Hawk (Standard)" might be more appropriate? If so, I can run through and make the changes. -Cache (talk) 15:04, 26 November 2014 (PST)

No, I wouldn't say it matters. Redirects should be enough. As for "correct" terminology, my opinion is that the article names are perfectly accurate - we've got the original Nova (Black Hawk), where Black Hawk is just a reporting name and not the correct name; we've got the Black Hawk-KU, an IS OmniMech based on the Nova; and we've got the Black Hawk (BattleMech) that is a non-Omni Clan 'Mech also based on the Nova, but deliberately named after the Nova's reporting name. And we've got a Black Hawk diambiguation page. I'm happy. Frabby (talk) 01:41, 27 November 2014 (PST)

Black Hawk Standard Fluff Update[edit]

This article was written when the original MWDA Record sheet book came out with only dossiers available. I forgot about this mech, it does deserve to have more background information added. At the moment i am not able to do so due to my current working situation. I will try when holidays for me come up.--Wrangler (talk) 05:45, 25 November 2015 (PST)
