Talk:Capellan-St. Ives War

Clean up needed[edit]

I will be devoting some time to cleaning this up again. There are a lot of inaccuracies and mistakes. Aldous (talk) 22:43, 14 November 2013 (PST)

I agree, the page is complet a mess, and must become a revamp.--Doneve (talk) 23:06, 14 November 2013 (PST)

Opening Gambits[edit]

I keep seeing "Opening Gambits" in the description of what Sun Tzu did in 3060. Is that written in canon or just a coincidence? --Aldous (talk) 21:16, 21 November 2013 (PST)

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Are you saying it's written that way in different places? --Scaletail (talk) 06:33, 23 November 2013 (PST)
Yes. Other articles in this wiki called it that way. I was wondering if its canon or just an author's preference.--Aldous (talk) 18:57, 23 November 2013 (PST)
Similarity from having been written around the same time? Though, since then, Handbook: House Liao has come out, and the opening section in that book about the war is titled "St. Ives Gambit". So maybe there is something to it? --Scaletail (talk) 21:02, 23 November 2013 (PST)

Any idea what we do with the tables on the page, i vote to remove it, but i wait for other comments.--Doneve (talk) 13:10, 23 November 2013 (PST)

In this case, it seems that the tables are the best way to present the information. Unless the information we present changes or you have a better way of showing it, I think we should keep them. --Scaletail (talk) 14:14, 23 November 2013 (PST)
I am redoing the tables. It doesn't make much sense the way it is now.--Aldous (talk) 18:45, 23 November 2013 (PST)
Ok guys, we go this way.--Doneve (talk) 19:12, 23 November 2013 (PST)

Eridani Light Horse Date Conflict[edit]

The novel Dagger Point goes against the Killing Fields and FM:Comstar. Dagger Point says the attack on Milos happened in January-March, the others say much later. Around July? Anyway... since Dagger Point is regarded as one of the most horrible books ever written, I have decided to go with the others.--Aldous (talk) 21:36, 23 December 2013 (PST)
