Talk:Fletcher (CC)

Which is which?[edit]

Well there are 2 planets called Fletcher. Someone should make sure what info belongs to the Fletcher near Oriente in the FWL and what belongs to the Flechter near Ingress in the Chaos March. After a quick check the info here looks like it belongs to the Fletcher near Ingress. --BigDuke66 10:43, 29 December 2008 (PST)

I haven't done an in-depth analysis of the contents of the history sections, but everything here looks correct. I swapped the info with Fletcher (FWL) some time ago, which means this is the Fletcher near Ingress. --Scaletail 17:18, 1 January 2009 (PST)
The data itself looks to be correct but the map is pointing to the one for Fletcher (FWL). --Moonsword 14:16, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, Moonsword; I'm glad you highlighted this. I think, in order to remove all doubt, I'll remove the incorrect map and rename this article as Fletcher (CC). During the Overhaul effort, it'll be getting a new map.--Rev (talk|contribs) 15:36, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
I know this is old, but Fletcher (Capellan Space One), is the original Fletcher. It was mentioned more than the Free Worlds League world. Do not think this world (briefly ROTS World) should have the "ROTS" in its name. By the Capellan invasion the planet would reverted back to Capellan rule. FWL Fletcher is clearly marked, there less history at the moment on it to warrant the change. I believe it should be (Capellan) or left as (Planet). I know it sounds bland but ROTS could confuse people. It more likely to be looked up. -- Wrangler 18:46, 2 August 2012 (PDT)

Information Regarding Royce[edit]

I'm not sure "When" the information the was including the mercenary trade and the Royce was supposet to have happened. Does anyone know where reference came from and what year? -- Wrangler 18:57, 17 February 2010 (UTC)

Its unfortunate, but I don't think you'll get a response from the Editor who placed it, as he was active for a very short period of time and not for over a year. I'd recommend putting the 'Multiple Issues' tag (see the Template gallery) in that section and open a discussion of wiping the section clear after a certain amount of time, if no citations are provided. i'd hate to do it, but if there is doubt it is true...--Revanche (talk|contribs) 17:36, 18 February 2010 (UTC)
I can't vouch for the specifics, but Fletcher did become a mercenary haven and one of the more important hiring halls for a time. I'll see about some references. --Scaletail 23:25, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm currently sorting this mess out using Field Manual: Mercenaries, Revised and removing the sections directly lifted from the text. Also checking ER3062 to see if there's any relevant information in there. --Moonsword 16:53, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Good catch, but keep in mind ER3062 falls at this time under moratorium, thanks.--Doneve 16:56, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
There's nothing in there anyway, so it's not an issue. Thanks for the reminder on the moratorium policy. --Moonsword 17:02, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

Multiple Issues Tag Removal[edit]

Given that I've cleaned up the citations, redone the planetary history section, and updated the article for JHS: Terra, is it time to go ahead and remove the multiple issues tag? Moonsword 17:20, 23 August 2011 (UTC)

As the 'adoptive' editor, I'd say that was up to you. Whomever placed the tag on the article should also explain each of the issues the article has on the talk page. If you feel you've addressed all the provided issues...it's done! And thanks.--Revanche (talk|contribs) 17:34, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
It looks like it was Wrangler but he never explained what the problems were. I don't see anything else wrong on the page so I'll go ahead and remove it. --Moonsword 17:39, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
Hello, the reason for the citation was because of placement of the planet being mixed up with Free Worlds League and the one in Capellan Confederation. I apologize for not noting when i put that citation on in the first place. -- Wrangler 18:41, 2 August 2012 (PDT)
