Well, now that I look at it, I'm not 100% certain about the changes in the spelling. :( I'll double-check tomorrow when I get home (I've got the books) and verify it. If necessary, I'll fix all of the Gray->Grey changes. Bdevoe 21:21, 14 September 2007 (CDT)

  • I was going to say... in all english BT sources I have here, the name is Grayson and it's the Gray Death Legion accordingly. But I didn't want to undo changes by a senior member without raising the point with him first. Btw there seems to be a similar spelling issue with Col. Gerhard Hansen and his unit, Hansen's Roughriders - they are alternately spelled with e and o (Hanson) in different sources. Frabby 03:07, 15 September 2007 (CDT)
I'm not going to argue that there are no sources that use an "e" instead of an "a," but I don't have any of them. Field Manual: Mercenaries has them listed as the "Gray Death Legion," which was founded by "Grayson Death Carlyle." If you head over to, you can even find that there was a book (if you didn't know already) titled "Gray Death Legion." I've fixed what I could find, but maybe you could see if there's anything I missed. --Scaletail 09:31, 15 September 2007 (CDT)
When I originally made the edits, Grayson seemed horribly wrong to me. I'm currently reading Mercenary's Star, so it seemed like the absolute right thing to change. But then last night (as I mentioned), the changes seemed wrong. I just verified in Mercenary's Star that is IS Grayson and not Greyson. I've seen the incorrect version MANY times in MANY forms and it seemed like these entries were simply duplicates of that incorrect spelling. I should have double-checked my sources before making the changes, but I was pretty positive that Grayson was wrong. Thanks for making those changes back, Scaletail - I just logged in to do it and noticed you had already done it. Bdevoe 01:44, 16 September 2007 (CDT)
