Missing Cells

There are no cells missing, the Blank cells in the weapons row are in the Inferno and Non-Inferno rows below each weapon. the cells that are missing from the inferno and non inferno rows are from the weapon that is immediately above--Cameron 03:13, 23 February 2011 (UTC)

Page Naming

I am Making an effort so that the Name Referenced in the table for each weapon goes to the page for the BattleTech Stats (Tech Manual) for the infantry weapon, the Side Bar in the Article Should match the Stats from the line on this page for that weapon.--Cameron 06:45, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

BattleArmor Weapons

This is the Table For the BattleTech Stats for the infantry Weapons, Debating adding a section on the bottomn for the BattleArmor Variants of these weapons or having it be a seperate Section.--Cameron 06:45, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Other Games

This is the table for the battletech stats for the infantry weapons, there will be a table for BattleTroops, RPG1e, RPG2e, RPG3e, & RPG4e, each weapon in each table will be linked to the subpage for the specific game stats for each weapon with transcluded text from the battletech article, and there will be a cross link, possibly using "other uses", for the other games. This will be complicated, but if done right (only the main battletech page being categorized to the main weapons category) will be usable and informative, and give an idea of the way that the RPG has changed in the last 20 years. I am just wondering if i should reverse engineer stats for the newer infantry weapons to the RPGs that they were not published for... if i did so, each row in the old rpg that i did so would have a fannon in the source collumn... --Cameron 06:45, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Naming issue

The article name may be a misnomer - we're not looking at Infantry weapons but at a rundown of game stats for, well, any personal weapon and even training dummies such as a bokken. Which leads me to: Frabby 22:41, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Copyright?

I presume all that game data is freely available through CGL publications, and not taken from copyrighted books? Because if this is not made freely available, I feel providing the full content of a commercial game supplement is infringing on CGL's copyright and not covered under fair use anymore. We wouldn't want legal trouble because of plagiarizing the information here that CGL tries to sell for money. Frabby 22:41, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Don't mean to be 'stalking' you Frabby, but you are correct to be concerned. When ever we mention rules (example), we tend to mention only the effects, using as in-character representations as we possibly can, and without being specific, leading the reader to look at the source material for actual game play material. The only viable way we could meet 'fair use' on this article's scale is if it were an essay analyzing the comparative features of one weapon against others (at I know Cameron does excel), and it would have to be an essay. --Revanche ^{(talk|contribs)} 23:08, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Disagree, There is already a weapons list on BTWiki, there is no fundamental difference between the Weapons_and_Equipment_Lists|List of Vehicular and BattleMech Weapons that was already present and this one. This is a Compilation of at least three seperate tables, and weapons stats are in a side bar on each article for the vehicular scale weapons. If there is an issue of Copyright infrengement for this Weapons Table, why is there not the same for the other?--Cameron 14:49, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Full Content??? This is a compilation of a minimum of three tables from a book with hundreds of pages. At worst this page points out what weapons articles are yet to be created. The Reader still must go to the A Time of War or A Time of War Quick Start Rules to get the rules for the actual use of the weapons on the RPG Scale and Total Warfare, Tech Manual, Tactical Operations, Strategic Operations, and Interstellar Operations on the BattleTech Scale.--Cameron 14:49, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

Request for Consensus, BattleArmor Weapons on this page, or Battle Armor Weapons and Equipment Lists. Further, Merge with Weapons List (existing page fine as it is). Request for smaller font in title row
