Units fate[edit]

After surrendering in the 4th Succession War I lose their track and can't find any further info about their fate. Anyone know what happened to them?--BigDuke66 19:31, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

Seems like they weren't reconstituted. Their surrender is the end of them. --Scaletail 02:26, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
Well I thought the would be incorporated into the St. Ives Military Command like the other St. Ives Armored Cavalry units that defected. The Blackwind Lancer had one battalion surrender too but they were kept on the list, also I think 2 units that defected weren't happy about the whole St. Ives thing and switched to mercenary status. That's just why I'm not so sure if this is the end of the Cuirassiers story, maybe there is some small sentence in all those sources that explains it.--BigDuke66 13:29, 16 October 2009 (UTC)
I'd leave it open ended until something comes up. BT has alot of written material which has alot tid-bits hidden away in unlikely places. Don't give a total ultimate answer, leave it somewhat open-ended. -- Wrangler 14:43, 16 October 2009 (UTC)

Unit's Name[edit]

All the sources I've seen have the unit's name as Justinia's - not Justina's - Cuirassiers. Unless the name has been somehow retconned at some point the whole article should be renamed. — The preceding unsigned comment was posted by Villain (talkcontribs) .

Looking at the two references provided in the article, it appears they agree with you. I'll make the move now. Additionally, if they had been retconned, then someone should have made that note on the page; in this case it was one mistake that lasted until you caught it. Thank you. --Revanche (talk|contribs) 13:16, 19 July 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I went through the pages that link to this article and changed the spelling on all those. If there are still some pages that have the incorrect spelling, they don't link here. Villain 06:48, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Villain

Edited the whole article - comments?[edit]

After going through the trouble of checking all the links to this article (as mentioned above), I thought I might as well polish the text a bit. This was basically my first time editing an article here, so all comments and critiques are most welcome before I tackle another unit. I tried to improve the article by simply checking the spelling and grammar of what was already written, by re-writing the bits that made little sense in English and by adding a few bits of info from House Liao book and the 4th SW Military Atlas. It's still very short and a bit clumsy, but at least it's readable now (no offense to the original author). I also tried to make the article look stylistically a bit closer to some of the more recent unit articles; I couldn't find a clear guideline on how it should look so if someone could point me to one I'd be thankful. As there was virtually no additional information in the "Officers"-section that couldn't already be found in the "Unit Composition"-section I chose to remove the former as redundant; if someone finds some more info about the officers of the unit, feel free to put the section back in.

Oh, I forgot to sign the above message. Villain 08:02, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
