Broken[edit]

This page seems to have been broken in some way. 99.229.172.125 09:52, 4 January 2012 (PST)

Fixed that - thanks for highlighting it. BrokenMnemonic 10:26, 4 January 2012 (PST)

Reviewed, removed the line[edit]

"The Mackie is considered to be the first BattleMech, a combat innovation introduced for the Hegemony Armed Forces at the mid-point of the Age of War era." from the top of the article, as this is mentioned at the beginning of the history section. CJ (talk) 05:20, 10 February 2022 (EST)

What do you recommend as a replacement lede?--Revanche (talk|contribs) 11:51, 10 February 2022 (EST)
With it being at the top, and the first sentence of the description stating the exact same thing, it seems unnecessarily redundant to have that at the top of the page.CJ (talk) 18:41, 17 February 2022 (EST)

Covington Mech Museum citation needed[edit]

The article mentions a Mackie in the Covington Mech Museum on Atreus and cites "Sourcebook Free Worlds League p. 75". Neither House Marik, the Free Worlds League nor Handbook House Marik mention a Mackie in a museum on those pages or anywhere else in those books that I could find.— The preceding unsigned comment was posted by Chu Jungyin (talkcontribs) .

I have removed the sentence. No book called Sourcebook Free Worlds League has ever been published so I am going to assume it is possible fanon that has been snuck in at some point.--Dmon (talk) 15:05, 13 June 2022 (EDT)
Not objecting to the removal, but if someone has Field Manual: Free Worlds League or Objectives: Free Worlds League handy, a glance at that page might be worth the time.--Talvin (talk) 18:56, 13 June 2022 (EDT)
Fixed the source and the passage. --GreekFire (talk) 19:10, 13 June 2022 (EDT)
