[edit] Name?

Shouldn't this be called the Timber Wolf Mk II, since Timber Wolf is the proper name for the Mk I, thereby making it the proper name for the Mk II? -70.105.107.100 15:59, 31 March 2008 (CDT)

When the 'Mecdh was designed the Diamond Sharks intended it for sale in the Inner Sphere and because of this they named it Mad Cat MkII as it is more recognized with thier target demographic. I can understand the confusion though.CJ 18:48, 31 March 2008 (CDT)
I remember this make to be firstly called Timber Wolf MkII on this wiki. As a Clan 'mech, it should receive a Clan name. I'll receive in a few days my TRO 3067 and I'll tell you how the 'mech is called in it. Anyway, Mad Cat MkII is indeed the name Clan Diamond Shark sell this 'mech to the Sphere, but this 'mech is not sold to Inner Sphere only : some Clans received it too and I think, as every Clan 'mech, it should receive its Clan denomination, just like it was before. --FIVE-one 02:37, 1 April 2008 (CDT)
This 'Mech has 1 name - Mad Cat Mk II. Both the Clans and the Inner Sphere refer to it by this name. In fact I have my TRO 3067 right here and the 'Mech is only reffered to as Mad Cat MkII. The Diamond Sharks in fact have done this previously with a 'Mech called the Ha Otoko which doesnt have a "Clan Name".CJ 13:03, 1 April 2008 (CDT)
I can also confirm this. In addition, Combat Operations lists the Mad Cat Mk II under Inner Sphere factions, including the new Star League. --Scaletail 19:01, 1 April 2008 (CDT)
