Parentage[edit]
Chapter 13 of "Heir to the Dragon" has a line in it that possibly has strange implications, the exact quote is "Aunt Florimel and Uncle Undell, Marcus’s father, for they were of the previous generation. Having brought Marcus into existence, they were responsible for bringing treachery into the universe." Constance, Marcus's daughter refers to Florimel as Great-Aunt earlier in the book so it is likely just a mistake, or a clumsy way of saying Florimel raised Marcus (did something happen to his mother?). - I came across this same issue in a roundabout way over on Talk:Constance Kurita. The quoted line from Heir to the Dragon doesn't actually say that Florimel is Marcus's mother, and is consistent with her being Undell's sister (and therefore Marcus's aunt.) I think it's most likely that she's not Marcus's mother, which would make the current Marcus Kurita article incorrect on his parentage. Tosta Dojen (talk) 00:07, 23 October 2020 (EDT)

- With the Kurita housebook and its fold-out family tree before me, Florimel is indeed Marcus's sister. Hugai Kurita had 3 children: Hohiro (Takashi's father), Florimel, and Undell. Takashi had a brother Miyamoto, father of Isoroku Kurita of TRO3025 Hunchback fame, and no offspring is noted for Florimel. Undell had 3 children: Marcus, Akiro (killed in Sholagar accident, no offspring), and Elija (son Mitchell b. 3002). Marcus's 3 kids are Constance (2990), Alexander (2994), and Donal (2998).
We know of course that the family tree is incomplete. Yorinaga is missing, as is Rasalhague ruler Malcolm Kurita and his son and successor Mies. And who did Uncle Chandy descend from? Frabby (talk) 16:53, 26 October 2020 (EDT)
