Talk:Scauld

Austerlitz/Scauld[edit]

The renaming of Austerlitz to Scauld was confirmed by the Catalyst Game Labs writing staff in August 2011:

Thanks to the quality of the maps available now and the availability of the books in PDF format, it's possible to overlay copies of maps onto each other and scale them to the same scale using established systems as a reference points, and doing so for former provinces of the Rim Worlds Republic and the Map of the Inner Sphere 3130 shows a number of systems with different names that share the same location on the two maps. I was wondering if it's possible to confirm if they are in fact the same?

The systems I've been looking at are:

  • The RWR system of Erin/Von Strang's World in the Barrens
  • The RWR system of Port Vail/The Rack in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Dijonne/Pain in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Lywick/Ferreusvirgo in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Lushun/Jibbet in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Oporto/Veil in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Austerlitz/Scauld in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Anatolia/Pillory in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Edirne/Brank in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Seven Lands/Garotte in the Rim Territories
  • The RWR system of Helbrent/Andiron in the area which used to form the Circinus Federation
  • The RWR system of Himmels/Balthazar III in the area which used to form the Circinus Federation
  • The RWR system of Iolas/Deidre's Den in the area which used to form the Circinus Federation
  • The RWR system of Green Stone/Clayborne II in the area which used to form the Circinus Federation
