Cannon Question[edit]

Are we going to keep the Cannon version of Thumper and its family members together? There no article information on them yet. -- Wrangler 12:03, 2 December 2009 (UTC)

To my recollection, they are separate and distinct weapons. --Scaletail 02:05, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
Looking at Tactical Operations page for the Artillery Cannon, It describes to be considered non-artillery weapon, but its considered sub-nosed version of the original weapon. Would you think this would warrent its own page or it should have its own section? The person who created re-direct for Thumper Cannon did not make seperate section for Thumper Cannon. Personally I'd rather have all the Artillery Cannons placed in one article than seperated per section. There not lot fluff on them to warrent being kept seperate. -- Wrangler 12:07, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
As far as I'm concerned, every weapon that has its own stats gets its own article. --Scaletail 03:08, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
I'll attempt an article when I have a moment. Weaponry type articles aren't exactly my foretay. However, I don't like how things been slapped together lately. So I'll see what I can do. I'm terribly good with the info boxes. -- Wrangler 12:14, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Is it possible to have two or more info boxes with same or similar shortcuts/data entry names on the same page? Like if you want to cover Capitol Scale (decimal Damage), AT2 Space, At2 Space Atmo Hex, AT2 Air, BattleForce 2 Tactical, BattleTech, MG:S7, S7BS, and WM3ed stats all in one article, you would just be able to scroll down to the section instead of using the entire screen for the info boxes. My infantry weapon box is a kludge, yuck...--Cameron 13:26, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Even Splitting the Clan and IS Stats for BT infantry, RPG infantry, BT BA and RPG BA would make it flow a lot better...--Cameron 13:26, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Sure. An infobox is just a specific kind of template, so you can put more than one into an article. To my knowledge, there was no lengthy discussion about the layout of the weapon articles. If you have a better way of organizing the information, I'm certainly willing to listen. Perhaps you'd even want to start a WikiProject to coordinate it? --Scaletail 23:49, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
