Toad was freeborn into the Clan Ice Hellion laborer caste. After the Clan was Absorbed by Clan Goliath Scorpion he petitioned for a Trial of Position and managed to defeat his first opponent. Due to his genetic disposition he was assigned to a Provisional Garrison Cluster, but that had not tamped down his desire to advance in rank. He offered challenges constantly, typically to the amusement of his superiors. Some believe he will eventually challenge someone who takes offense and seeks a more lethal outcome.[1]
