Inner Sphere BattleMechs are generally categorized by the year of the Technical Readout in which they made their debut. The Technical Readouts that have contained Inner Sphere 'Mechs are:

Technical Readout 2750[edit]

Technical Readout: 2750 included the re-introduction of Star League Era technologies into the BattleTech universe and was printed after Technical Readout: 3025 and before Technical Readout: 3050 was released.

The 'Mechs In Technical Readout 2750 are:

Technical Readout 3025[edit]

Technical Readout: 3025 was the first Technical Readout released by FASA Corporation for BattleTech and contained information on BattleMechs, Vehicles, Aerospace Fighters, DropShips and LAMs. At the time of the release, there was no differing levels of technology available, so the level system was not in place. The LAMs in the book later became Level 3 and not legal for use in tournament play. The BattleMechs [LAMs excluded, as they are neither 'Mechs nor Aerospace Fighters] listed in Technical Readout 3025 are:

Technical Readout 3025 Revised Edition[edit]

TRO 3025r was released in answer to legal issues concerning the use of some images for the original BattleMechs. TRO 3025r simply ommited the questionable 'Mechs (by which they received the title 'Unseen')and replaced them with downgraded versions of the Technical Readout: 2750 'Mechs. The 'Mechs removed from TRO 3025r were:

Technical Readout 3050[edit]

Technical Readout: 3050, subtitled The Return of Kerensky, introduced the Clan OmniMechs, as well as the first Battle Armor (Elemental), upgraded versions of the 3025 BattleMechs, sourcebook 'Mechs not previously included in a TRO, variants of TRO 2750 'Mechs used in the War of 3039 and new IS designs produced prior to the Clan invasion. Only the new 3050 'Mechs models are listed below, as the listing for the 2750 'Mechs and the 3025 'Mechs can be found in their respective sections.

TRO 3050r was also created in regards to the licensing issues associated with the Unseen. The Inner Sphere 'Mechs in TRO 3050r consisted of three groups: new 'Mechs, upgraded TRO 3025r 'Mechs and TRO 2750 'Mechs. Some of the TRO 2750 'Mechs were modified to different variants.

Technical Readout 3055[edit]

TRO 3055 introduced the first generation of Inner Sphere 'Mechs built specifically to counter the advancing Clans. The technical readout also introduced Clan Second Line 'Mechs and Clan OmniFighters. The new Inner Sphere 'Mechs listed in TRO 3055 are:

Technical Readout 3055 Upgrade[edit]

The 3055 Upgrade serves as an 'in-character' update to the original Technical Readout 3055, with new artwork for the latest BattleMech variants, as well as the Solaris VII 'Mechs. Three Inner Sphere 'Mechs were provided with redesigned artwork (providing the name 'Reseen'), as a precaution against any future copyright issues.

Solaris VII 'Mechs[edit]

Technical Readout 3058[edit]

Technical Readout: 3058 contained a second generation of BattleMechs designed to combat the Clans, including new Inner Sphere OmniMechs. These new designs are built to either upgrade from existing designs or to ape some of the Clans' better known models. Also included are more designs recovered from the Star League database.

Technical Readout 3058 Upgrade[edit]

Technical Readout: 3058 Upgrade is an 'in-character' year 3067 update to the original technical readout and contains added information on the variants of the previously-listed OmniMechs and BattleMechs. The only major change was to several of the combat vehicles and inclusion of a Star League section, to which some of the previously released 'Mechs were moved (due to their development in the 2nd Star League era).

Technical Readout 3060[edit]

Technical Readout: 3060 follows closely on the heels of Technical Readout: 3058, but is based on the two years' worth of development attributed to the rebuilt Star League, as well as intelligence from Operations Bull Dog, Bird Dog and Serpent. Several new Inner Sphere BattleMechs and OmniMechs debuted in this title:
